Summer in Full Blooms

Wow, those 6 tomato plants I put in a plastic container in spring are yielding so many tomatoes, I had to give them away to friends and coworkers. Jeremy used to like cherry tomatoes, but now we had so much, he spits them out, because of the thick skin. And Rick's never into vegetables. But hey, I am not complaining, they make excellent snacks while I am watering the plants.

Also, amazingly is the Mr. Stripy variety I put in there too. Yielding huge tomatos, but not as sweet as the cherry ones.

Here are the peppers just turning red. Can't wait.

And TADA, my watermelons from a pot, I planted them because I like the foilage and the texture of the leaves, and that it cascades down the pot, now it actually has little watermelons, so cute! Extremely rewarding, isn't it?

I first fell in love with the coneflower when I visited SF Botanical garden in Golden Gate Park, now I planted mine, it was almost eaten by snails. But luckily, it survived! And here's the plant with 2 flowers! yeah!

And last but not least, my last year's begonia came back with vibrant colors, almost golden, just simply gorgeous.

Here's a large yellow begonia hiding in the corner and again yellow large daliahs, hmm, maybe I do like yellow?!
