Expecting Spring

The weather has finally turned warm enough, and my orchids, surprisingly didn't die from the frost in January. This last weekend, when I went out to work on the yard, I saw very exciting hints of spring:
1. my hyacins are out and blooming, the earliest of the bulbs I buried last year. The intoxicating fragrance is enough to knock me out. There are deep pinks and blues. Jeremy pointed to them and said to me, "Blue flowers", and "Pink flowers". cute.

2. My Camelia are in high blooms now, two of the bushes are loaded with blosoms. I think my friend Wabi is going to be very jealous.

3. My Orchids that are given to me by a co-worker last year have one new flower shoots out. I can't wait to see them flower, my goodness, this would be the first for me! That they are actually flowering instead of just growing leaves.

4. My tulips are peaking up from the ground. can't conseal my excitment to see them bloom soon. Maybe 2 more weeks.

5. My peony is shooting up new little purple leaves, I thought CA is not cold enough for them to flower, but now that we got this Jan. freeze, maybe this year, I would see a flower?! Can't wait either.

As you can see there are so much excitment brewing here, once I get the camera this weekend from my husband, I will post some pictures.

Happy Spring!
